HUMAN WINES

The magic of wine, the magic that enchants us when we drink it, comes from human effort and passion. Wine is the result of the hard and constant work of men and women. It means caring for the vines under the hot sun and in the rain, it means waking up with them and going to bed after a long day; it means observing, analysing, being able to wait and knowing how to act; it means counting on the people who help us, because without a team, there is no wine. It means studying, travelling to learn, exchanging ideas and experiences, listening to those who were there before and daring to try something new.

Wine is time; a circular time of natural events that always come back, but never the same. Wine is our time: that of our ancestors and that of our own lives.

There are no mechanically applied formulas in its production; there are suns, winds, rains, micro-organisms and even moods that rule and challenge us. Thus, wine is always the same and always different. It is made with our hands, our passion and our creativity. It is made to share and to be with oneself. It is made with feeling. It is offered in the toast as the chalice was offered in ancient rituals. Wine reflects the terroir where the vines grow and it reflects us, its makers. Wine is essentially human.
